How to measure height using LiDAR sensor on next generation iPhone:
Make sure you have an iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max, 13 Pro / Pro Max and 14 Pro / Pro Max.
Access the Measure app on the Home Screen
Then hold the phone to someone you want to measure height.
Note: You must hold the camera fully to be able to measure the height correctly as shown in the picture below.
Apple believes that height measurements using the LiDAR sensor are as accurate and accurate as direct height measurements.
